Who designs your costumes?

Whether it be a showroom costume or a special order, you can rest assured that every single costume is designed by Janine herself and then produced by her very capable staff

How do I place an order?
You can place an order by visiting our Penkridge showroom, or by completing an order form which can be downloaded from this website and posting with a cheque or e-mailing with your credit/debit card details to our head office address.

What deposit is required?
A non refundable deposit of £100 per costume is required with your order.

How can I pay?
You can pay by cheque (payable to Design by Janine) by cash or by visa by telephoning 01785 716016.

What if I am not fully satisfied with the costume?
If you are not completely satisfied with the costume, we will give you a full refund less your non refundable deposit providing it is returned within seven days UNWORN. If we are producing a costume which has been designed by a third party, we reserve the right to refuse a refund.

What if there are alterations to be made to my costume?
We would always recommend that you visit our showroom for your final fitting. Any minor alterations which may be required can usually be done while you wait if you visit the Penkridge showroom. If it is not possible for you to visit for a fitting, we can post your costume to you but you will be liable for any postage costs for the return of the costume for alteration.

What is the cost of postage for my costume to be delivered?
The cost of postage is £10.00 per costume or £16.00 for two costumes. This gives you insurance cover of up to £1000 and is sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery guaranteed before 1pm next working day. There is also a guaranteed Saturday delivery at an extra charge. The average cost of postage for Love to Dance and Gorgeous Girls Club items is between £5.00 to £10.00 depending on the weight and cost of the item. Delivery outside the UK is dependant upon the country and weight of the package and will be advised upon ordering.

What Guarantee is there with my costume?
We do not guarantee our costumes beyond first wear. Any washing of the garment is at your own risk. Garments cannot be sprayed with any perfumes, deoderants or fabric fresheners. Never use fabric conditioners. All of these will loosen stones and transfers from your clothing. A detailed list of how to care for your costume is included with every new costume.

Can my costume be altered at a later date?
Any alterations at a later date will incur a charge. We reserve the right to refuse any alterations requested. It is not our policy to stone starter costumes at a later date to be used for intermediates.

Can I buy stones and glue to stone the costume myself?
You can purchase stones and glue from Design by Janine by phoning 01785 716016 or emailing us on janinepout@btconnect.com

How can I buy your Love 2 DanceRange and Gorgeous Girls Club
Love to Dance range is available from our showroom or at competitions or you can purchase online from our Love 2 Dance or Gorgeous Girls club sections

What does it mean if a costume is marked as RESERVED?

This means that a costume has been paid for in full and has been sent to a customer but they have 7 days to return it if it is not suitable so it may still be available after the 7 day period
